"The Best Things in Life Are For Free" - this popular saying is actually true for Sao Paolo based Reviolence. After their 2003 debut EP "In Pieces", the five-piece releases a new EP with four new tracks now and offers a free download on their website.
The Brazilians commit themselves to traditional old school Thrash á la Evil Dead, Imagika and Xentrix. Most of the time the band stays in the mid-tempo zone. "The Annunciation" is an instrumental worth listening to and the concluding "About Angels And Demons" also shows that the band have mastered their instruments.
While I appreciate the rawness and the style of the band, there's still some room for improvement when it comes to catchyness.
However, at the end of the day you get an oldschool Thrash Metal EP that is worth listening to and which you shouldn't let pass you by.
