This is the second release (2nd EP) from Reviolence The EP is called VIOLENT PHOENIX. Soon the band will release a full debut album due to released somewhere in 2008. This EP contains 4 songs Reviolence are from Brazil – a country which is crazy about metal as many Mediterranean countries. The members of the band are Carlos Furtado(vocals), Chico Crestana (guitars),Guilherme Spilack (Guitars), Mauricio Cliff (bass), and the drummer Edson, the only remnant from the original line up. Their sound is a mixture of Heavy metal and Thrash.. However they manage to produce a unique and high quality sound. Especially with the melodies of the guitar which fills the songs with melodic solos and cool thrash riffs to compliment each song. The vocalist definitely blends very well with the sound of the band. The opening song Violent Phoenix reveals the qualities of this band. starts with a great bass intro and continues to THRASHHH everything !!! with some positive interception from the melodic solos of the guitar !!!! the second Song Abduction reveals how good the Guitar of this band is. Quick melodic guitars and a very good chorus are the positives here. The third is an instrumental song and is called the Annunciation. (I hope in the debut album to include a full instrumental guys – this was very good!) and finally the fourth song About Angels and Demons which is a classic thrash song!!! With some $#%#$%#% guitar riffs and solos. This song worth’s exploring it a bit listen to it…Yeahhh In summary what I listened showed that this band has the foundation to produce and play good metal music. I ill be waiting the bands first full album, with this EP they have set the expectations hi. This band blends Thrash Metal with Heavy metal and has its own unique sound which is a very positive characteristic.
